Last night the deer were making a steady stream through our backyard from the field and into the ravine next to our house. I grabbed my 70-300 and made a few shots.

Last night the deer were making a steady stream through our backyard from the field and into the ravine next to our house. I grabbed my 70-300 and made a few shots.
Love the shots, but especially the one with the background oranges. Saw 4 deer hopping around with each other and playing about 30 minutes ago on my walk.

One of my parishioners saw a cool sight the other day. There were deer in farm yard and all of a sudden a coyote jumped into the scene and quartered one of the deer off. The two fought until the deer was panting, after hitting the coyote with her front hooves. Then they stopped and stared at each other for 5 minutes and both walked away. I would have LOVED to have caught that on camera! 🙂
