Relay 4 Life
Last night was the Relay for Life in Estevan. It was a spectacular event – even though we all hate the fact that we have to have such an event. That being said, the support for people struggling with Cancer and those who have survived it was amazing. The girls’ team name was “Cancer Sucks” . . . which is very fitting. The event went really good with lots of excitement and fun activities happening the whole night. I bowed out early to take the kids home, but the rest of the girls stayed and walked in the relay all night long. I brought along the camera of course as well as a lite strobist kit for some off camera flash. The lighting in every rink on the face of the earth is terrible so having the extra bit of illumination also helped. My handy little 43″ Westcott collapsible umbrella worked sweet too, as I could fold it down and jam it in pocket. Slick stuff. Anywayz, here’s a few pics from the event.
